Position Description:

LGO / Lifeguard Responsibilities of Ocean Lifeguards include, but are not limited to:

• swimmer and patron safety within an assigned area
• rescue operations and communication with other guards and supervisors
• surveillance and attention to changing weather and water conditions
• ordinance enforcement
• general beach safety and customer service.

Lack’s Beach Service is the largest beach service in Myrtle Beach, SC, covering approximately 10 miles of beachfront. In operation since 1974, Lack’s Beach Service maintains a high standard of service for the community. Lifeguards at Lack’s not only provide exceptional lifeguard skills, but also rent out beach equipment to the public.
